    Our mission is to reduce euthanasia rates at local shelters and save lives through spay/neuter.

    About Us

    South County Cats is an all-volunteer, spay/neuter assistance organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, homelessness and euthanasia rates in our community.

    Our main areas of focus are:

    • Spay/neuter of pet cats whose caregivers have limited financial resources
    • Fostering semi-socialized cats and kittens to increase their adoptability

    In addition we:

    • Lend traps, carriers and cages, and provide instructions on their use
    • Assist with TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) of feral cats
    • Transport cats for spay/neuter surgery and provide post-surgical care
    • Educate the public about feral cats and available resources to help them coexist in our environment
