  • Mission

Rainbow World Fund (RWF) is an all-volunteer international humanitarian service agency based in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) and friends community. RWF’s mission is to promote peace, unity and hope by inspiring the LGBT movement to participate in humanitarian relief efforts. RWF works to help people who suffer from hunger, poverty, disease, oppression and war by raising awareness and funds to support relief efforts around the world.

    About Us

We have a variety of projects from sorting medications to be distributed internationally, to street outreach, to volunteers working in various capacities at fund raisers. An upcoming event is our annual global art project - the World Tree of Hope at Grace Cathedral. It is the largest origami decorated holiday tree in the world. We are seeking volunteers to help create the origami (you don't need to know how to fold - there are lots of tasks) and to help decorate the tree.
