Mission
Once Like You, Inc. mission is to provide support and empower young adults who are aging out or have already aged out of the foster care system, helping them transition from dependency to self-sufficient and independent living.
About Us
Once Like You, Inc. was founded in North Carolina due to the crisis foster youth aging out faced in 2020. In 2023, our Founder, Tiffany H., relocated the organization to New York City due to the lack of resources for inner-city foster youth and young adults. Our Founder, was once a former foster youth who noticed and experienced the lack of resources for young adults aging out of the foster care system. Once Like You, Inc. was founded on a need equipped with life experience.
