Moose Lodge Senior Pet Sanctuary

We are a senior pet sanctuary/rescue. Dogs are taken in primarily as lifelong sanctuary residents due to abandonment, age, medical needs, physical needs, and more. We take in the dogs no one wants, and we take care of them during their last few years of life so they can have a safe loving forever home.

Moose Lodge Senior Pet Sanctuary is a nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to giving senior pets a loving, safe, and peaceful place to call home.

We provide sanctuary care for older animals who may have been abandoned, displaced, medically neglected, or overlooked because of their age or health needs. Many of the pets who come to Moose Lodge need patience, comfort, medical support, and a stable forever home where they can be loved for the rest of their lives.

Unlike a traditional shelter, Moose Lodge is a home-based sanctuary. Our senior dogs live in a real home environment with daily care, companionship, meals, medication, comfort, and love. Our mission is to help each animal feel safe, valued, and cherished in their final chapters.

Because our sanctuary is home-based, volunteers play an important role in helping us keep daily operations running smoothly. Support with administration, organization, communications, events, fundraising, transportation, and animal care allows our caretakers to focus on what matters most: the health, safety, and happiness of the senior pets in our care.
