Atrium Health Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus

At Atrium Health Hospice & Palliative Care Cabarrus, our goal is to help people live their last days as comfortably as possible, surrounded by family and friends. We care not only for our patients, but their families as well. Meeting the needs of those who are dying and those who care for and grieve them motivate our work.

The care we provide revolves around quality of life, as well as peace, comfort, and dignity. Hospice care is available for those living at home, in nursing homes and assisted living centers, and at our on-site Tucker Inpatient Unit.

Our organization offers comprehensive end-or-life care with a team of doctors, nurses, home health aides, chaplaincy, social workers, and volunteers. We provide 24 hour a day on-call nursing staff, bathing and personal care assistance, caregiver support, and assistance with medication and equipment. We also offer spiritual care services, grief support, and psychosocial and counseling support.

Our volunteers are an integral part of the patient and family support team, offering services that include caregiver relief, companionship and socialization, music and art therapy, and pet therapy teams.
