    Lutheran Service Corps is a social ministry organization of the ELCA that places volunteers in social service programs within the Omaha community where they serve as full time, non paid employees for eleven months. Volunteers make a commitment to work for social justice, live in community, live simply, and develop spiritually.

    Volunteers receive a personal stipend, housing, allowances for food, transportation, and phone, and health insurance. Volunteers must be 21.

    Volunteer commitment is for eleven months, and individuals may begin their term of service in January or September.
