We promote respect for all sentient beings by providing information about issues related to animal ethics, sentience, and how to help animals. We work to create awareness of all harms to sentient animals, as well as promoting practical solutions to the problems they face.

Our main work is

- Providing education about respecting nonhuman animals

- Promoting research about how to help wild animals

- Encouraging interventions in the near future such as vaccinations and helping wild animals in natural disasters

- Helping activists create materials for their groups

We provide information that is not widely available in an accessible form. We detail the plight of nonhuman animals, particularly wild animals, and how to help them. In addition, we show that all major ethical theories should lead to the conclusion that all sentient animals deserve moral consideration. Our website also has hard-to-find information about sentience. We do outreach work aimed at achieving a shift in attitudes about speciesism.

Our website is available in 9 languages, and we work and do outreach around the world, particularly in the U.S., Spain, Brazil, and India.
