About Us
The mission of the Rogers Family Foundation is to support organizations committed to the highest level of achievement and excellence with a particular emphasis in the areas of education and youth development in the city of Oakland and its immediate surrounding areas.
Our vision is that all Oakland students will graduate from high school prepared to succeed in life, college, and career.
- We are working towards the day when every child in Oakland can attend a high-quality public neighborhood school staffed by effective teachers, led by an engaging principal, and supported by community-based organizations.
- When all Oakland students - regardless of their background or socioeconomic status - have access to the conditions described above, we believe that achievement gaps can be eliminated and young people can realize their full potential.
