    The Georgia Parkinson's Association was founded in 2004 as a support group for people living with Parkinson Disease in Northwest Georgia and their families. GAParkinson's now has support groups and programs throughout the state of Georgia including an internationally recognized conference for people living with Parkinson's and their families. The Southeatern Parkinson Disease Conference is a 2 1/2 day confernece held each year.

    The mission, of the Georgia Parkinson's Association is to improve the quality of life for those living with Parkinson Disease and their families through education, support and advocacy
