Golfing FORE a Cure

Afton, TN

  • About Us

Golfing Fore a Cure was founded to be able to raise money for the American Cancer Society by hosting an annual golf tournament in memory of the founder's father Larry Schofield. Larry lost his battle with cancer on April 29, 2011. He was attending a Mini Relay for Life sponsored by his granddaughter's elementary school. After the survivor lap he went to his car to leave for another treatment where he collapsed. To help finish his fight we decided to raise money each year to be presented to Doak Elementary School at their annual Mini Relay for Life.
