  • Mission

The City of White Plains Youth Bureau was established by the City's Common Council in 1970 and has evolved ever since. Currently, it is to provide children and youth, ages 5 trough 21, with effective youth develompent programs.

    About Us

The City of White Plains Youth Bureau offers many programs for the youth of White Plains such as after school centers, Bits & Pieces Summer Tutorial Camp, and Youth Employment Services (Y.E.S.). The Youth Bureau also has a specialized Alternatives Program for middle school and high school youth to foster success in school. This is done through counseling, advocacy, referrals and other supportive services. We also provide safe places for middle school and high school youth to go after school and evenings through our Neighborhood Services program.
