    The Least of These Ministries is an ecumenical Christian organization, dedicated to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with Haitian and Dominican residents of bateys (villages) in southwestern Dominican Republic. Founded in 1989, the ministry provides supplemental food with biblical teaching to residents of 14 of these bateys each week. Our vision is to empower the residents of these communities to seek sustainability by instilling hope through Jesus Christ. Our ministry to the bateys outside of Barahona in the Dominican Republic is operated by a small staff of local residents.

    Our US office is located in Maryland.
