  • About Us

The Lowline aims to convert an abandoned, historic trolley terminal into an extraordinary subterranean cultural amenity on the Lower East Side of New York City. The project is well supported by the community, having secured official endorsements from a wide array of local elected officials and business organizations. It envisions the use of innovative technology to distribute sunlight underground, enabling plants and trees to thrive in the worldʼs first underground “park.”
