Northern Community Radio builds community in northern Minnesota through radio programming, news, cultural events and interactive media.

Northern Community Radio is an independent, non-profit public broadcast organization that operates two unique community-based rural public radio stations, KAXE and KBXE. We serve diverse communities across most of north central and northeastern Minnesota with two terrestrial signals and a translator. Celebrating our 50th year, we are proud to engage audiences and supporters across the country and internationally through our website at kaxe.org.
