    The Minnesota Internship Center is a charter high school with multiple sites in Minneapolis that serves students who are motivated to earn their high school diploma despite facing barriers to their education. MNIC students are predominantly low-income African American youth ages 15-21. Students experience challenges including generational poverty, compound community trauma, teen pregnancy, homelessness, and health disparities. MNIC strives to provide support for holistic student needs including college and career advocacy, health advocacy, social work support, and housing and homeless services.
