Ride the Spectrum for Autism Inc.
We are a community organization whose mission is to improve the lives of Indiana families who have been touched by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We are dedicated to empowering these families by providing them with valuable information, resources, and support that they might not have access to or knowledge of otherwise while spreading awareness and educating the public about the challenges that these families face on a daily basis.
We provide families and caregivers with opportunities to connect with other families that share the same lifelong challenges and needs such as parenting, relationship, and educational issues, in addition to the various treatment options that are available to them in their area. We also provide social and recreational activities for our ASD children that are designed to create opportunities where they can practice social skills in a safe and caring environment.
In addition to all this, we strive to spread awareness in our community by being actively involved, educating others about autism, advocating on behalf of Indiana families, and raising money for these families which is then awarded to them in the form of grants made possible by RSA and our affiliates. These grants are provided to children for therapeutic tools, camp fees, and other expenses not covered by insurance or government waivers.
Our partnerships with other nonprofit organizations such as the Autism Society of Indiana, VSA of Indiana, and Meaningful Day Services allow us to provide families with comprehensive assistance and services in a wide variety of areas, but we can’t do any of this without help from our wonderful volunteers, caring sponsors and those who are passionate about our cause and willing to donate or volunteer on behalf of our cause. We invite you to help us make this happen in any way you can.
