GreenWood Charter School

Our mission is to provide a quality holistic education to all students by providing opportunities for them to be active, knowledgeable, creative, and conscientious individuals. GreenWood inspires a healthy balance in life through healthy eating habits, exercise, personal discovery, service learning, and environmental stewardship.

GreenWood is the first school in Utah to focus on holistic education. GreenWood is a free public charter school serving grades K-6. The school is founded by local parents, professionals, and health educators who all share a passion for helping children succeed in all areas of life. On April 3rd, 2014 the Utah State Board of Education approved GreenWood's charter! Our school opens August 26, 2015.

Every student is unique and needs a nurturing environment to explore, engage and enlighten their understanding of the world around them. At GreenWood, we have built that nurturing environment to provide an individualized approach to each of our students. Our teachers build relationships of trust and caring with their students to establish rapport that will help their students work harder towards achieving their academic goals.
