Believe In Tomorrow Children's Foundation

About Us

Believe In Tomorrow™ provides exceptional hospital and retreat housing services to critically ill children and their families. We believe in keeping families together during a child's medical crisis, and that the gentle cadence of normal family life has a powerful influence on the healing process. We believe that the highest standards of service and unparalleled hospitality help to create a unique healing environment, where families find hope and comfort. Since 1986, Believe In Tomorrow has provided over 750,000 overnight accommodations that help families stay together in the midst of medical crisis.

As the originator of respite houses in the United States, Believe In Tomorrow has five retreat homes, including two located on the Atlantic Ocean and one in the Allegheny Mountains. Military families are the top priority for two of the retreat houses, as a part of Believe In Tomorrow's military initiative. These vacation houses give the opportunity for the families to relax and spend time together like a "normal" family. The houses are presented to the families free of charge for a week or weekend, along with various free passes for activities donated by local companies.

Believe In Tomorrow House at St. Casimir is the first hospital house facility specifically created for the needs of pediatric bone marrow transplant children, their families and their siblings, conveniently located near the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. This facility complements the Believe In Tomorrow Children's House at Johns Hopkins, which serves other critically ill children and their families. Our organization is proud to consistantly maintain an administrative expense of less than 10% and donate over $0.90 of every dollar directly towards foundation programs.
