  • About Us

The Long Term Care Community Coalition (LTCCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving quality of life and quality of care for elderly and disabled people who rely on long term care services and supports, including individuals who reside in nursing homes or assisted living and those who access services in their communities.

In order to effectively address the challenges to ensuring good and appropriate care, LTCCC researches relevant national and state policies, laws and regulations and develops meaningful recommendations to improve quality, efficiency and accountability. LTCCC uses this research and the resulting recommendations to educate policymakers, consumers and the general public about the significant issues affecting quality of care and the efficient use of public funds, and to advocate for the frail elderly and disabled people who use long term care services.

LTCCC’s work is grounded in its organization as a New York State based coalition of consumer, community, civic and professional organizations, bringing together these different stakeholders to identify and address the systemic issues that affect quality of care and dignity in long term care.
