Catawba Valley Guardian ad Litem Assoc

The mission of the Catawba Valley Guardian ad Litem Association is to educate the public about the desperate need for trained volunteers to advocate for abused & neglected children in the courts, and to raise money for the children we represent to provide for needs not currently met by State funding.

The CVGALA currently operates in a 3 county area of NC including Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties. We assist the NC Guardian ad Litem program in Judicial District 25 by recruiting new volunteers, assisting with training, and providing continuing education to current volunteers. A Children's Assistance Fund has been established and funds are being raised to assist the children we advocate for in our District.
