ITNBluegrass is a non-profit, membership based transportation service for seniors that uses cars and both paid and volunteer drivers to pick seniors up and take them where they need to go. The project is an attempt to find a safe, affordable, and desirable transportation alternative for millions of people who, sooner or later, will not be able to drive, but who want to remain in their homes, leading an independent lifestyle. Our non-profit transportation alternative does not rely on tax payer dollars. The system improves the quality of seniors' lives by easing their voluntary transition from the driving to the non-driving role, simultaneously improving safety for the public as a whole.
