Athletes Unite Against Adversity

AUAA uses athletics as a platform to build resiliency, inspire, provide resources and create opportunity to underprivileged youth.

Our goal is to provide free, quality sports leagues to underprivileged elementary aged youth that are unable to afford other leagues in the area. We would love the opportunity to give them a positive initial sports experience to allow them to fall in love with the game and understand key concepts such as teamwork, determination, sportsmanship, etc.

Another goal is to provide high school athletes with the opportunity to secure their first job. These athletes will be considered junior coaches who will be paired with head coaches to help mentor them throughout the program. Additionally, we will bring in different professionals to conduct mandatory seminars that the junior coaches will need to go through throughout the program to learn various life skills and become aware of potential career paths to pursue in the future.
