  • Mission

Born Again Pit Bull Rescue’s mission is to save lives by keeping dogs out of local shelters through spay and neuter assistance, owner and shelter support programs, and community education.

    About Us

Founded in 2007 as private animal rescue by Angela Adams, BAPBR officially became a nonprofit in 2011. We are the longest standing registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Portland Metro area dedicated to improving the lives of pit bulls and their communities. We advocate for pit-bull-type dogs through community awareness and education and strive to combat misinformation, over-population, shelter crowding, low adoption and high euthanasia rates for these family dogs. We are funded solely, and supported by, the generosity of individuals and corporations in our community.
