Samuhik Abhiyan

Samuhik Abhiyan is a non governmental and nonprofit community based organization registered with District Administration office Lalitpur in 2060 B.S. , affiliated with SWC. It is a non political emerging district level social development organization dedicated towards bringing positive social transformation. It is an active member of NGO Federation, has got an opportunity to lead Lalitpur district level network DimanN (National Disaster Management Network).

With assistance of World Vision Lalitpur ADP it has campaigned HIV/AIDS awareness in these 4 VDC's in 2007. Community based Disaster preparedness Initiative was conducted in these 4 VDC's. This programme made good coordination with community of these VDC's. The DMCs established by it started working their activities independently in respected VDC's.It has been successfully conducting recreational classes since 2003 continuously. The children participated in this class has been able to perform their skills in various activities.

• To uplift the disadvantaged children for their rights and their access in health and education
• Manage income generating programmes according to the possible local income and resources
• To conduct various training and awareness programme for the group at risk
