Hope-Hill Elementary Foundation

About Us

The Hope-Hill Elementary Foundation was organized in 2014 by a group of neighborhood parents and community leaders to provide financial and human resources to Hope-Hill Elementary School, a pre-kindergarten through fifth grade traditional public school located in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta. The school is located within the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic site and serves a predominantly African-American student population.

Most Hope-Hill students are from the Bedford Pines Community:
- Only 3% of families in Bedford Pines have a male head of household
- Average median income in Bedford Pines is $3,000 per year
- 93% of Hope-Hill children qualify for free or reduced lunch
