    About Us

    The STAR Reading program at Cascade Elementary recruits volunteers to tutor students in reading. We have a very easy program for the tutor and the tutee to follow. Training and materials are provided. This one on one tutoring helps the students greatly improve their reading skills.

    Our volunteers generally come twice per week for 1 hour. Although we can be very flexible. Our program will start Sept- May. Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 1:30pm. If you click on the volunteer button and don't hear from us, please call or e-mail.

    This is a wonderful and rewarding opportunity to watch students improve and reach their goals.
