About Us

The Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement - Illinois (APRA-IL) is a non-profit organization that strives to advance the goals and interests of persons working, or interested, in fundraising research, prospect management, and analytics. These goals include professional development, continuing education, information sharing and the advocacy of the prospect research and development profession.

APRA-IL, a chapter of APRA International, includes professionals with all knowledge levels, skill-sets, and job roles centered around prospect development and strategy.

APRA-IL follows the ethics and standards of APRA International's Statement of Ethics and the Donor Bill of Rights, as developed by the American Association of Fund Raising Counsel (AAFRC); Association of Fund Raising Professionals (AFP), Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), and Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
