Historical Society of Easton

  • Mission

The Historical of Society of Easton brings members from our community and the region together to share and learn about our town’s history. We do this by collecting, preserving and interpreting our town’s history and heritage for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations.

    About Us

Formed in 1968, the Society keeps families in Easton and other nearby communities connected with the past through social events and education about our town’s history and the history of its people.

Overview of the Organization The Society manages two historic properties in Easton; the Adams Schoolhouse, a one-room schoolhouse (circa 1850) in Easton, and The Bradley-Hubbell Museum and Farmstead (circa 1816) which is listed on both the Connecticut and National Registers. The Society also offers a free series of lectures, family friendly events and programs geared toward learning more about Easton, regional and Connecticut history.
