CENTRE FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT (CRD)
CRD’s mission is to ensure sustainable livelihood for the poor families by using local resources and skill up gradation with community participation.
Center For Rural Development (CRD) is a registered Society under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. The Society was registered in the year 1994-95 with its registration number 1228. A few young professionals who were working in the field of rural development for a number of years joined their hands together and forms the Society for fulfilling the following objectives:
Since inception, we have been rendering service in animal husabndry & veterinary sector especially atificial insemination, vaccination in cattle at farmers' doorstep with a team of young veterinarians.
We have been working in Irrigated Agriculture with a objecgive to convert 'traditional farmers into commercial farmers' group by providing necessary service in crop production practices, organising training & workshops etc.with a core professional group.
Again, we have been promoting Self-help Groups (SHGs)mobilising rural poor especially abckward classes & women group and have been trying to link them with micro-credit system.
CRD is also promoting the products of rural artisans & craftsmen in urban areas by organising exhibition cum sale.
