About Us

Phelan Fitzpatrick is running to be the first Black and Queer representative of district 3 City Council in New York City. He is a gun violence survivor, small business owner, and single dad. We are running a progressive campaign without any PAC or big business money and we are looking for passionate people to join our team. You do not have to be a student or live in NYC for this position. It can be done remote. You do not need experience in government. Internship will largely consist of phone banking, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising. If you have other ideas of how you would like to be part of the team, please let us know. This is an unpaid position, but we are able to write recommendations, offer community engagement and digital advocacy training, and assist with networking as needed.
