Our mission is to empower communities through entrepreneurship, skills development, and sustainable initiatives by connecting international volunteers with grassroots projects. We aim to support local economic growth, promote self-reliance, and create meaningful cultural exchange experiences that benefit both volunteers and the communities we serve.

GIE Volunteer Exchange Programme is a community-driven initiative dedicated to empowering local communities through entrepreneurship, skills development, and sustainable grassroots projects. We work closely with individuals, youth groups, and vulnerable populations, including marginalized women and widows, to create practical solutions that improve livelihoods and promote self-reliance.

A core focus of our work is supporting marginalized women and widows, providing them with entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and access to resources that help them build sustainable businesses, regain independence, and strengthen their families. We believe economic empowerment is key to creating lasting social impact.

We also run youth exchange programs that bring together young people from around the world to collaborate, learn, and share ideas with local communities. These programs focus on skills development, innovation, and entrepreneurship, helping youth participants gain hands-on experience while contributing meaningfully to community projects.

Volunteers play a vital role by sharing skills, supporting entrepreneurship initiatives, and participating in youth and community programs. Through these experiences, they contribute to cultural exchange, mutual learning, and sustainable community development.
