  • About Us

Hostelling International USA is part of the largest network of hostels in the world. With over 80 hostels in the US, HIUSA operates hostels everywhere from the largest hostel in North America on Upper West Side of Manhattan to lighthouses on the California coast.

We are also a non-profit organization dedicated to helping all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world through hostelling. We carry out our mission through educational programs with our guests, daily and nightly activities at all of our hostels, and interactions with our surrounding communities that give our travelers an opportunity to have a more authentic travel experience.

HI New York has 672 beds and growing, and hosts guests from all corners of the world of every age, race and background.
