The mission of the Community for Open Source Microfinance (COSM) is to scale the growth and impact of microfinance by coordinating a global community that builds, supports, and uses Mifos, a free and open software system to more effectively and efficiently deliver financial services to the poor.
The Community for Open Source Microfinance is a diverse collective of participants building a microfinance movement powered by open source innovation. We make microfinance more open and effective by equipping MFIs with software, collaboration tools and a local support network to use technology to reach the poor.
