MIStudentsDream

MIStudentsDream is a group of educators, students, parents, and community members who organize and advocate at the intersection of immigration and education justice. We focus on leadership development, community organizing, and building worker and student power in order to win policy and practice changes which make schools in Metro Detroit safer and more accessible for immigrant students and families.

In solidarity with other immigrant rights groups, we use the symbol of the Monarch butterfly as it represents the dignity and resilience of migrants and the right that all living beings have to move freely.
