- To educate the public about the history of civil rights and lessons learned from our collective struggle for equality.
- To empower and enrich all of our communities from a multicultural, economical, historical, spiritual, and social perspective.
- To restore the historic McDonogh 19 property to educate the community about New Orleans' Civil Rights history
