Beacon Hill Business Association

The purpose of the BHBA are: to organize and unify the voice of businesses around Beacon Hill: to develop, improve and support the maintenance of the neighborhood; to improve the social and physical conditions of Beacon Hill while preserving its diversity and those social and physical characteristics of positive value to the area; to encourage an economic climate where business may function and flourish; to sponsor positive projects for the education and benefit of the business community; to represent the members and act as their voice in working with other individuals, organizations and governmental authorities; to collect and receive funds by way of dues, gifts, and contributions and to apply, the income of principal there from to the accomplishment of the aforesaid purposes; to manage, invest and reinvest the income or principal of any funds or property which it may from time to time possess; through the foregoing, to contribute to the erection and maintenance of public works, to encourage and enhance the neighborhood harmony, to maintain the integrity of this unique and historic business district; and to do all things permissible under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
