The Volunteer Center of N.E. Metro Chicago

  • About Us

Established in 1960, The Volunteer Center (VC) helps individuals and service groups of all ages and abilities in the northeast metro Chicago area make a difference by volunteering with over 160 nonprofit partner organizations and their clients in need. This is accomplished via volunteer opportunities posted by the nonprofit partners on the VC website, https://VolunteerCenterHelps.org or through participation in VC sponsored community-wide Days of Service. The VC also supports its service groups and nonprofit partners through best practice trainings to help them engage volunteers in impactful volunteer experiences that benefit both the nonprofit and the volunteer.
