Our mission is to inspire, uplift, educate, and empower our community by building positive relationships through strong partnerships and persistent endeavors.

New Morning Light Community Development (NMLCD) Project, a 501(c)(3). We were established by a group of like-minded individuals with a need to help stop the cycle of failure in our neighborhood families. The solution to the problem of being at risk lies with all of us and can be obtained through the concerted efforts of family, school, and community collaboration. Our focus is to reduce the cycle of failure within our area through educational programs and direct community support. We believe the only way to change a poverty mind-set is through actively engaging the community in a series of positive alternatives that will expose them to a better way of thinking, which will ultimately lead to a better way of life. We can accomplish this through AWARENESS, EDUCATION and COMMUNITY PARTNERS working together towards a common goal.
