About Us

The result of a collaboration between the International Churchill Society and the George Washington University, the National Churchill Library and Center is the first research facility in the nation's capital devoted to the study of Winston Churchill. Students and visitors have access to a vast range of primary and secondary materials, an interactive touch screen exhibit, and displays of original art, manuscripts and artifacts.

The NCLC is not just a place for study, but also a venue for discussion and debate. Leaders in politics, the military, and business; renowned historians; and other distinguished guests regularly appear to discuss historical and contemporary issues through the prism of Churchill's life and legacy.
