    Dance to Empower aims to use dance to break down barriers and create a space where each individuals can explore their creativity, build confidence, and find a sense of belonging. We believe that dance should not be limited by socioeconomic or cultural boundaries; rather, it should be an inclusive medium that celebrates all backgrounds and abilities, offering young people a pathway for personal growth, emotional resilience, and community connection.

    Dance to Empower is a youth-led 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Founded in 2022, it has become the largest dance empowerment NGO in Connecticut, with 1000+ connections and dozens of resources for our students. We are dedicated to helping underrepresented youth gain exposure to the arts through free dance lessons and empowerment souvenirs.
