Peace Brigades International - Nepal

  • About Us

Peace Brigades International (PBI) is a grassroots, non-partisan human rights organisation dedicated to the nonviolent transformation of conflicts. Upon request, the PBI Nepal Project (IP) sends teams of international volunteers to Nepal conflict zones where they provide protective accompaniment to local human rights defenders. In early 2006, PBI launched its newest project, an initiative to protect human rights defenders in Nepal. In 2001, as we celebrated our 20th anniversary, PBI was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
