Open Architecture / New York is the New York City-based chapter of Open Architecture Collaborative. We are an all-volunteer group of professionals dedicated to supporting our underserved communities by providing socially responsible design services and public education programs.

Since our chapter was founded in 2003, we have completed over 40 local projects to underserved New York City communities including the Park Slope Women's Shelter, ARTfarm, and the Broadway Community Inc. Shelter.

In 2010, Open Architecture / New York volunteers contributed over 20,000 hours, equal to over $600,000 in professional design services.
