Global African Village

  • About Us

Global African Village was formed to help the impoverished Bagishu people, who live on the slopes of Mt. Elgon in eastern Uganda. Most people are subsistence farmers; their average annual income is a mere $6 per year. They have no running water, no electricity, and very limited access to health care. Our three main goals are health care, childcare, and improvement of wells.
