    Girls First provides a safe, stable environment where students practice respect for themselves and others, exercise appropriate interactions with peers and adults, discover new skills and talents, and develop tools that will allow them to achieve greater success in school and beyond.

    Description

    Historically, enrollment consisted mainly of girls from Gotwals Elementary and Hancock Elementary. In the past few years, we have expanded our reach to serve girls from additional Norristown Area School District schools, such as Marshall Street Elementary and Cole Manor. Our program operates Monday through Thursday, and we accept and serve students from the surrounding communities. We serve an ethnic and culturally diverse population of families. A significant number of the girls reside in the local Norristown community.
