The Collins Foundation
About Us
The Collins Foundation was established to provide a permanent secure home for the San Jose Peace and Justice Center (SJPJC), formerly San Jose Peace Center, by buying and maintaining a building, now called the Collins House, suitable for the SJPJC to adequately fulfill its mission.
The Center serves as a meeting place and resource center for South Bay groups working to end militarism, seeking a peaceful solution in the Middle East, and supporting a more just U.S. domestic and foreign policy. The center provides internships and volunteer opportunities for students from nearby San Jose State University and several community colleges in the South Bay.
By providing a home for the San Jose peace and justice movement, the Collins Foundation enables many groups to carry out their work in support of peace and justice in the community and around the world.
