HandsOn New Orleans inspires and motivates people to meet community needs by encouraging active citizenship through gratifying and mutually beneficial service projects.

HandsOn provides rewarding service leadership opportunities for local New Orleans residents, through our Volunteer Leader Program, which matches the specific talents and interests of volunteers with the identified needs of a local non-profit. The HandsOn New Orleans Project Calendar connects local volunteers to reoccurring service projects.

HandsOn New Orleans engages volunteers outside our community through our Volunteer Bunkhouse and Hands@Work Programs. Our Volunteer Bunkhouse serves as a home away from home for thousands of visiting volunteers throughout the year. Our Hands@Work program creates customized corporate volunteer programs for national and local businesses.

HandsOn New Orleans creates an array of flexible resources for the burgeoning volunteer community in New Orleans that provides resources to support the needs of our partners, volunteers and city.
