    LCD is a subsidiary of Lighthouse of Oakland County which was founded in 1972. LCD assists individuals and families in need by providing affordable housing options, including single-family homes through new construction, rehabilitation and rental housing. Residents must participate in specialized training and education programs which include: home buyer seminars, financial fitness classes, and one-on-one counseling. LCD also offers foreclosure prevention counseling for those facing mortgage delinquency.
