    The Micronesia Conservation Trust, formally established in 2002, is a charitable and irrevocable corporation organized to manage and provide funds for the accomplishment of the following mission: “to support biodiversity conservation and related sustainable development for the people of Micronesia by providing long term sustained funding.” The goals of MCT are to: raise community awareness about biodiversity conservation and related environmental education programs; support the conservation of priority natural biodiversity resource areas; and strengthen the ability of communities, community organizations, government agencies, conservation and development NGOs, and other appropriate organizations to conserve Micronesia’s biodiversity and sustainably manage its natural resources for the benefit of future generations
