About Us
The Jewish Community Council of Canarsie (JCC of Canarsie) acts as Southeast Brooklyn's trusted advocate in identifying and responding to communal needs with hunger, homelessness, illiteracy, family and domestic violence, aging, prejudice, and poverty. Serving as a lifeline for impoverished elderly, needy families, near-poor individuals, recent immigrants, and at-risk youth, the JCC of Canarsie provides food, comfort, counseling, case management, transportation, and hope to thousands of clients each year.
