Restore America's Estuaries
Established in 1995, Restore America's Estuaries (RAE) leads a national alliance of community-based organizations working to preserve the nation's network of estuaries by protecting and restoring the lands and waters essential to the richness and diversity of coastal life.
RAE's sphere of work includes:
·On-the-ground restoration projects as part of a national campaign to restore coastal and estuarine habitat
·Production of an array of collaborative tools and resources to guide the restoration process, including A National Strategy to Restore Coastal and Estuarine Habitat, Funding for Habitat Restoration Projects: A Citizen's Guide and Principles of Estuarine Habitat Restoration.
·Uniting the national restoration community, key decision makers and local citizens through a bi-ennial national conference and outreach efforts.
